Deleted my Google+ account
For what it's worth, I deleted my Google+ account. I might delete the Facebook one out of spite since I dislike the interface so much.

I really like the G+ UI so much, but I am coming to the conclusion that Google can't run web services to save their lives. I was trying to get more involved with Google+, but while it was my primary social tool the administrators kept me in a constant cycle of having my profile 'under review'. I finally got fed up with it when they made these banners too obvious on my main page, and then I'd have to watch accounts named 'Spock' posting comments.

I was a fan. I was honest in my profile. I enjoyed G+. Google finally bludgeoned me away from their product. What else can I say about a company so incompetent in how they run things?

In other news I didn't bother watching the Eurovison Song Contest this year because their streaming service hadn't started after 10 minutes into the show. I felt peevish enough to walk away. There is a VPN service I can use in London, but it frequently would stop streaming and left me many minutes delayed as well. (I suspect there were a lot of folks hitting that same service so they could get Graham's commentary)

Aw! Understandable, though.
